Dear Friend,

Merry Christmas. This year, I travelled to France as part of a CostSaver "Highlights of France".

I signed up for all the options. My tour included:

Bullet  Paris, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Élysées, Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, Jardin du Luxembourg

Bullet  Beaune, Lyon, Avignon, Papal Palace, Principality of Monaco

Bullet  Cannes, Côte d'Azur, Pont du Gard Roman aqueduct

Bullet  Nîmes, Carcassonne, Lourdes, Pyrénées foothills

Bullet  Biarritz resort, Bordeaux, St. Émilion hilltop village

Bullet  Loire Valley, Chenonceau, Amboise, Chambord châteaux

Bullet  Mont St. Michel, Omaha Beach, Deauville, Honfleur, Rouen, where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake.

I added 4 extra days in Paris of my own, visiting: Centre Pompidou, Conciergerie, Musée d'Orsay, Jardin des Tuileries, Place des Invalides, Napoleon's tomb, and LIDO I stayed at Hôtel Europe St. Séverin, where I was treated like a personal guest of President Emmanuel Macron.
